Quadrantids meteor showers to light up Qatar Sky tomorrow night

DOHA: The first meteor showers during 2018 will be seen over Qatar sky and Northern Hemisphere from the evening of Wednesday (January 3) until dawn of Thursday, astronomers called it 'Quadrantids meteor showers, Qatar Calendar House (QCH) yesterday announced.
Quadrantids meteor shower is usually active every year from last week of December until second week of January, while its peak will be from evening of January 3 until dawn of January 4 every year, astronomer expert at (QCH) Dr. Beshir Marzouk said.
Qatar residents and residents of all Arabic region countries not need to astronomical telescopes to see Quadrantids meteor shower; because they can see it with naked eye from more dark places and places without light and environment pollutions (pure sky), moreover residents can take a nice photo for Quadrantids meteor by using recent digital cameras, but they must increase exposure time of camera while taking photo to get a best picture for Quadrantids meteor. Dr. Beshir Marzouk added.
Quadrantids meteor shower will appear over Northeast horizon of Qatar sky and all Arabic area skies. Quadrantids meteor showers is one of important and best meteors seen from the Earth, where the average shower, when it arrive its peak, will be in between 80 Quadrantids meteor per hour. Orionid meteor is created by debris from 'EH1Comet; where Earth passes through the dust and debris it leaves behind during January every year.
The best time for observing Quadrantids meteor is after midnight until dawn time, while the best location to can observing it is a darker location without light and environmental pollution.
