Stoke next manager odds: Mark Hughes on the brink – Former boss favourite to take over

MARK HUGHES is under huge pressure with Stoke recording just five Premier League wins all season, but who is favourite to take over at the bet365 Stadium?

Stoke are currently 16th in the Premier League after a damaging 1-0 defeat to relegation rivals Newcastle.

Potters boss Hughes had been heavily criticised for fielding a weakened team against reigning champions Chelsea last time, with Joe Allen, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Xherdan Shaqiri all rested, but also failed to gain a result against the Magpies.

A number of familiar faces are in the frame to replace Hughes at the bet365 Stadium, including current top-flight bosses Sean Dyche and Rafael Benitez.

However, fans will be most interested to see an ex-manager of theirs leading the list of candidates for the top job.

Take a look through the gallery above to see who is among the favourites to take over from Mark Hughes as next Stoke City manager.
