Chinese national arrested with gold slab 
A Chinese male was apprehended with 1 kg 25kt gold slab by the staff of Sri Lanka Customs at Bandaranaike International Airport at 06.30 am today (Jan. 01).
The apprehended gold slab was valued at Rs. 6.5 million rupees.
The suspect aged 30 was bound to Hong Kong by UL 892.
