Commander of `B’ Division Lyndon Alves on Saturday gave chase after a suspected chicken smuggler and successfully nabbed him in Crabwood Creek, Upper Corentyne sometime around 4.45 pm.
According to information gathered, Alves received information that a man was expected to transport a quantity of Suriname chicken on the Corentyne.
Stabroek News was told that the packs of chicken were reportedly brought to Guyana through the Number 63 Beach area…..
