Aston Villa vs Bristol City: David Prutton delivers prediction
BRISTOL CITY will return to winning ways at Aston Villa this evening (5.30pm).

That is according to Sky Sports’ Championship expert David Prutton.
Lee Johnson’s side suffered a last-minute defeat against Championship leaders Wolves yesterday despite putting in a decent display at Ashton Gate.
They travel to Villa Park without goalkeeper Frank Fielding, who was sent off for a foul on Wolves’ wing-back Matt Doherty.
Villa spoiled Tony Pulis’ first game in charge of Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium thanks to Robert Snodgrass’ second-half winner.
But Prutton believes they are set to kick off the New Year with a whimper in front of their fans.
I fancy the Robins to keep up their own bid with a victory at Villa Park
“Aston Villa were dreadful at Brentford on Boxing Day but they did very well to get back to winning ways at Middlesbrough on Saturday,” he told Sky Sports.
“They're still on the cusp of the top six but will need a good run from here to get back into contention for automatic promotion.
“Victory over Bristol City would be a good place to start, but I fancy the Robins to keep up their own bid with a victory at Villa Park, despite that late heartbreak against Wolves.”
Villa striker Keinan Davis and midfielder Glenn Whelan are doubts due to illness.
