More than 26,000 camels will vie for some $30 million in camel contest prize money at Saudi Arabia’s King Abdul Aziz Camel Festival which kicks-off on Monday. In addition to camel beauty contests, the richest purse in the world of camel racing will go to the winner of the King Abdul Aziz Camel Racing Award. According to Arab News, the ancillary activities are exciting as well. Our attention was peeked by the event called “camel species and their funny stories,” no doubt a must for camel aficionados everywhere. We have not been able to ascertain whether the activity called “camel’s decorative drawing” is for camel enthusiasts or the ships of the desert themselves.

Management and staff of THE MEDIA LINE wish our readers a healthy and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!
