Celebrity New Year’s resolutions revealed: Holly Willoughby to make big change
WITH many of us waking up this morning (or afternoon!) nursing a splitting headache and vowing never to drink again, it’s no coincidence that we begin the New Year by re-evaluating our lifestyle choices and promising to change ourselves for the better.

Here at Day & Night we’ve put together some of our favourite celebrity New Year’s resolutions – let’s just hope they’re better at sticking to them than we are!
This Morning & co-host Holly Willoughby aims to strike a nice balance this year: “Everything in moderation but don’t be dull. I think that’s a good thing to go by.”

Don’t be dull
“I don’t say anything silly like, ‘I’m never going to drink again’ because that’s not going to work. I know this might make people’s eyes roll but I just want to continue to be the best person that I can and the best mum that I can…”
Our eyes might not be rolling, Victoria Beckham, but we are yawning.

Former Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge wants to become a whizz in the kitchen: “I don’t normally make New Year’s resolutions because I never stick to them. But I think in 2018 I’m finally going to learn how to cook!”

“I would like to spend less time on social media. Less tweeting, less Facebook-ing because I do way too much of it.”
He ticked Strictly off his to-do list last year but, after being booted off in week three, will Reverend Richard Coles also stumble on his next resolution?

“My resolution is to slow down a little – mind you, I say that every year. Walking my bulldog Dolly is both exercise and pleasure and of course shopping is my therapy,” Self-confessed workaholic Gok Wan wants to go a little easier but not on the old retail.
---------------------------
“I plan to go travelling, hiking, trekking, anywhere, everywhere, jungles! It’s hard to pick one place, there are so many places to explore.”
We’re sure there won’t be a dry eye in the house after model and actress Cara Delevingne’s announcement she may not be on our shores much this year.
Bon voyage, love!

Celebrity choirmaster and star of BBC’s Pitch Battle, Gareth Malone fancies jazzing up his repertoire. “I plan to get some jazz piano lessons – learn a new musical skill.”

“I plan to continue enjoying everything that still may be enjoyable in what’s left of the world and in what’s left of the time [in this world],” singer-songwriter Elvis Costello is preparing for Armageddon.
