Kashmir: Five CRPF jawans died in Jaish-e-Muhammad terrorists attack

SRINAGAR: At Least five security personnel and three terrorists died in an attack that took place at CRPF installation in Lethpora area of south Kashmir.

The firing began at around 2:00 am when nearly three JeM terrorists entered within the CRPF camp Housing Group Training Centre of the 185th battalion.

Reports said the firing is in process. 50 RR of Army, J&K police and CRPF personnel are involved in the investigation. Officials have suspended Internet services in Lethpora area.

The CRPF workforces were found as inspector Kuldip Roy, patrolman Tufail Ahmad, Rajendra Nain and Pradeep Panda. The terrorists were found as Manzoor Ahmad Baba of Pulwama and Fardeen Ahmad Khanday.

J&K police chief SP Vaid stated, “We had an input for last three days. They managed to strike last night.”

Jaish-e-Muhammad stated “Talha Rasheed, Mohammad Bhai and Noor Muhammad and all other sufferer are not heirless. All attacks will persist till the last Indian warrior leaves J&K”.

At Least 18 dead in attack on Afghan burial
