Last stage of national project for preparing national cadres starts

Muscat -

The eighth and last stage of the national project for preparing national cadres in the field of economic feasibility studies and development projects began at Holiday Inn Muscat Hotel on Sunday.

The five-day event is being organised by the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Planning, as part of Economic Diversification Initiatives ‘Tanfeedh’.

Dr Jabir al Ismail, a lecturer in IPA, covered a number of themes including the economic and social profitability indicators and ways to draft and prepare the final report of the feasibility study.

The project aims at advising the public cadres of the best international practices in conducting feasibility studies and analysing the development projects, so that they can meet the needs of development planning by various public organisations.
