The costs of petrol and diesel are changed in India following the approval by fuel organizations including Indian Oil, Hindustan Petroleum and Bharat Petroleum. These companies took decision with hope to alter the rates of diesel and petrol ahead of 15 June 2017.
All these petrol firms decided with aim at improved domestic costs of petrol and diesel in India consistent with crude oil prices.

Petrol organizations conducted 40-day trial in Puducherry, Jamshedpur, Visakhapatnam, Udaipur, Chandigarh to try this scheme.
