Doha: Applebee's, a casual dining restaurant chain in Qatar, donated QR60,000 to Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS).

The donation is part of a continuing effort of Applebee's to ensure social responsibility and commitment towards worthy causes. In the presence of Ganesh Sharma, General Manager of Foodvest Company (Applebee's operator in Qatar) donated the cheque to Dr. Emad Mohamed Alhaj, Head of Marketing of QRCS.

Sharma explained that they have invited QRCS to collaborate with them through their 'Dining to Donate fundraiser.

Dr. Emad welcomed this laudable initiative by Applebee's in support of QRCS's humanitarianism and volunteerism, as well as their willingness to partake in helping those in need in society. 'We are happy to see such a prestigious and well-established brand like Applebee's here with us, and hope that others will follow suit he added.
