(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 1 (KUNA) -- Oman and Bahrain football teams will meet at Jaber International Stadium Tuesday at the semi-finals competitions of the 23rd Gulf Cup.

Oman booked a seat in the semi-final of the Kuwait-hosted Gulf Cup Thursday after beating Saudi Arabia 2-0 at the conclusion of Group A matches, while Bahrain played a 1-1 match with Qatar on Friday qualifying to semi-finals of the Gulf-23 soccer competitions.

Moreover, Iraq and the UAE football teams will also meet at Jaber International Stadium Tuesday at the semi-finals competitions of the 23rd Gulf Cup.

The Iraqi team came on top of the group B after playing a draw match with Bahrain, beating Qatar and Yemen, while UAE team came second in group A with five points.(end) fas.haq
