Obituary

RAJSHAHI, Dec 31: Former General Secretary (GS) of Bagha Upazila Juba League and Vice-President of Municipal Awami League (AL) and former VP of Bagha Shahdoula Degree College Tosikul Islam died on Saturday at 12pm due to heart failure. He was 47.
He was the son of late Solaiman Sarker alias Gida Pundit of Punditpara Village.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Alhaz Shahriar Alam, MP, Bagha Municipal Mayor and AL leader Akkas Ali, Upazila AL GS Ashraful Islam Babul, leaders of different political parties, social organisations, teachers and employees expressed deep shock at his demise and condoled the family members of the bereaved.
His was buried at the family graveyard after namaz-e-janaza at 3pm on Saturday.
He left his wife, son, daughter, brother and sister and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
