Ajman: Brothers Gas defeated Dnata by 8-wickets to emerged champions of the first Corporate tournament.

The Academy sponsored tournament was held under the aegis of the Ajman Cricket Council. Brothers Gas won the toss and elected to field.

Dnata batsmen failed to get off a good start against the Brothers Gas’ bowling and could manage to muster only 116 runs in their allotted twenty overs.

Except for Qamar Hussain, who top scored with 44 runs off 36 balls and Irfan Arif 25 in 33 balls none of the other Dnata batsmen could resist the Brothers Gas accurate bowling.

Arslan was the main destroyer of Dnata, clinching 4 for 18. Mohammad Azhar and Sarwand claimed 2-23, and 2-21 respectively.

Brother Gas chased down the target in just 16 overs for the loss of only two wicket. Fahim’s 75 not out off 48 balls included six four and three six while Sana Bhatti hit 21 not out. Mohammad Naeem bagged 2 for 21 for Dnata.

Fahim and Arslan were named men of the match for their outstanding performances in the match.
