Man charged over woman's murder south of Perth

A man has been charged with the murder of a woman in Mandurah, south of Perth.

WA Police say they were called to a residence in Aldgate Street, about 70 kilometres south of Perth, at 4:00pm yesterday.

They found a 19-year-old woman's body at the house.

A 25-year-old man, who was known to the woman, was arrested at the scene.

He has been charged with murder, and is due to appear in court this morning.

He turned 26 today.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
