A MOPED driver has died following a crash in Hampshire.

A 43 year old man was riding a moped when he was in a collision with a traffic island on Sandy Lane, Farnborough, at around 1.50pm on Saturday

His next of kin have been informed.

Police are appealing for information following the incident and are asking for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.

In particular they wish to speak to a woman, in her late teens to early 20s, who was seen walking nearby around the time of the incident, as she may have vital information to help their investigation.
