Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ramachandra Chandravanshi said that in the last three years the Government has done many important works in the interest of the people, especially in the field of health. Addressing a press conference at Circuit House Garhwa on Sunday the Minister said 65 ambulances have been started while 329 ambulances of will be made available to the people by March, 2018 to help patients reaching health centre in emergency.
“For the poor patient the Government has started Chief Minster Health Insurance Scheme under which a BPL can get free treatment costing up to Rs 50000 at 81 selected hospitals in the country. Under the Chief Minister Critical Illness Scheme, 117 incurable diseases have been identified for the aid and assistance is provided up to Rs 2.5 lakh while the assistance for cancer and kidney is Rs 4 and 5 lakh.
Three new medical colleges have been set up in the state and three more medical colleges will be set up now. DPR has been prepared for setting up of new medical colleges,” said the Minister
