Biswajit releases Government calendar, diary

Imphal, December 31 2017: Information and Public Relations Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh today released Manipur Government Wall Calendar and Diary, published by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations for the year 2018 at his official quarter located at Sanjenthong.

The Government calendar highlighted various schemes launched by the State Government namely Sotharabasingi Tenbang and Saubhagya scheme recently launched by the Union Minister of Power RK Singh.

The wall calendar also depicted various state festivals namely Mera Houchongba, recently concluded Orange Festival, Sangai, Siroy and Barak festivals.

It also contains photos of the State Cabinet meetings held in hill districts, with the slogan 'Go to The Hills'.

The diary contains details of the State Government functionaries as well as Central Government Offices located in Manipur and Holiday list for the year 2018.During the release function, the Minister extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of New Year 2018 .

He expressed hope that New Year 2018 will bring peace, harmony and strengthen the bondage between different communities residing in the State.

The occasion was also attended by Director DIPR Meghachandra Kongbam, Deputy Director Chongtham Noyon Singh and Manager of Publication, L Ashokumar Singh and officials of the Directorate.
