DHAKA: The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) on Monday (January 02) claimed to have arrested the bomb maker of the militant attack at Hotel Olio International in city’s Pathapath area.
Mamun, 21, was arrested from Uttara’s House Building area last night.
Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter to the Banglanews.
A militant was killed in a suicidal blast when the law enforcers conducted the operation at a militant hideout at Hotel Olio International on August 15 in 2017. The operation was codenamed ‘August Bite’.
