Vidarbha beat Delhi by 9 wickets to win maiden Ranji Trophy title.

Vidarbha lift their maiden Ranji Trophy title after beating Delhi by 9 wickets in Indore. Earlier, Delhi wiped out the deficit after the tailenders pushed the paddle and started to play in aggressive manner. But the Rishabh Pant-led side managed to take a lead of 28 runs. Delhi had a disappointing start to their second innings after losing a couple of wickets early. But Nitish Rana and Dhruv Shorey resisted and compiled a partnership of 114 runs before Shorey was caught behind off Sarwate. Later, Nitish Rana too departed and Delhi lost wickets at regular intervals only to get bundled out for 280.

1033 AM IST: GONE! Kunal Chandela tries to go big, ends up getting caught at long off, Aditya Thakare strikes. A rather poor shot from Chandela, it is exactly what Delhi need to avoid to stay afloat, they are 32/1

1013 AM IST: Gautam Gambhir and Kunal Chandela in the middle for Delhi. Gambhir hit consecutive fours off Rajneesh Gurbani’s first over. But there haven’t been anymore fireworks and the two openers have thus far remained solid in the middle.

0941 AM IST: Aditya Thakare and Rajneesh Gurbani in the middle. Saini and Khejroliya are getting whatever they can from the new ball. Saini gives Thakare something to remember, landing one right in his box. Thakare is down on the ground and takes some time before getting back up
