MANILA, Philippines — The Manila International Airport Authority on Monday announced that 14 domestic flights have been canceled due to bad weather.

State weather bureau PAGASA is monitoring a low pressure area last located 385 km east southeast of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte that is expected to make possible landfall over the Caraga area.

The low pressure area is forecasted to develop into a tropical depression and will bring cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao.

Philippine Airlines Express, Cebu Pacific, Cebgo and Skyjet have canceled flights from Manila to Legazpi, Roxas, Masbate and Siargao.

The following domestic flights have been canceled as of 1 p.m. on January 1, Monday:
