Early morning accident injures four (Photos) 
Four persons were critically injured during a road accident involving a lorry and a cab at Navakkulama in Poonewa, Medawachchiya on the A-9 road early this morning (Jan. 01).
The lorry was transporting poultry from Anuradhapura to Vavuniya while the cab was heading to Jaffna from Dambulla with a load of vegetables.
The injured are residents of Gomarankadawela and Anamaduwa and they were admitted to Vavuniya Hospital.
