Bhopal: Shivpuri records 11°C rise in day temp

Bhopal: Shivpuri recorded 11 degree Celsius sharp rise in day temperature while Hoshangabad recorded sharp fall of night temperature by 2.4 degree Celsius on Sunday.

Shivpuri recorded a maximum temperature of 34 degree Celsius which was 10.3 degree Celsius above normal. This increase was recorded in the last 24 hours. On Saturday, day temperature was 23 degree Celsius. Naogaon recorded 5.5 degree Celsius which was lowest in the plains. Hoshangabad recorded minimum temperature of 10.2 degree Celsius on Sunday, however on Saturday there was a sharp drop in the temperature by 2.4 degree Celsius, the temperature recorded was 12.6 degree Celsius.

Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 24.8 degree Celsius which was normal while it recorded minimum temperature of 11.4 degree Celsius, one degree Celsius above normal. In last two days, the state capital has recorded two degree drop in day temperature. However, night temperature posted increase by 2 degree. Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 28.2 degree Celsius which was two degree Celsius above normal. The minimum temperature recorded was 12.2 degree Celsius which was two degree Celsius above normal.


Pachmarhi recorded a maximum temperature of 25.0 degree Celsius which was four degree Celsius above normal while it recorded minimum temperature of 5.0 degree Celsius which was two degree Celsius below normal.

Khajuraho recorded a maximum temperature of 21.5 degree Celsius which was three degree Celsius below normal, while it recorded minimum temperature of 6.0 degree Celsius which was three degree Celsius below normal.

According to meteorological department, days happen to be warm while nights are chill. Chilliness is due to northerly wind. Condition is likely to prevail for the next couple of days.
