Dhaka slum catches fire

A fire broke out at a slum in East Tejturi Bazar area in Tejgaon of Dhaka on Monday noon.

Quoting sources at Fire Service Control Room, UNB reported that the fire erupted in the slum behind the railway market in the area around 12:00pm.

On information, seven firefighting units left stations for the spot around 12:25 pm.

Of those, one unit reached the spot and firefighters are trying to put out the flame.

No casualties have been reported in the incident.
