Salman Khan’s latest flick Tiger Zinda Hai has once again proved that when it comes to ruling the box office, Bhai’s driver has got no competition. Despite having saved Salman multiple times, the driver is seemingly upset as he has not got the credit for the success of Tiger Zinda Hai.
The Katrina Kaif-Salman Khan’s driver starrer is a sequel to the superhit Ek Tha Tiger, which released in 2012 and broke several records. Although Tiger Zinda Hai did not break any significant record, the movie is making headlines after Salman’s driver threatened to run his car over people if Salman did not give him due credit for the film’s success. “If he doesn’t credit me, I will get drunk, drive him in my SUV, run over people sleeping on the footpath, kill them and put all the blame on him,” said the determined driver.
The actor has reportedly taken these threats very seriously. Acting upon them, he has hired Bombay High Court’s judge to fight a legal case against the driver. “Needless to say, it’s the same judge who evicted me in the hit-and-run case. I have full faith that he will rescue me again, given how I have been donating money in charity,” said Salman.
Salman Khan is also known as the bad boy of Bollywood. In a bid to intimidate the driver, he reciprocated the threat, “If the driver doesn’t get arrested, I will make sure that he commits suicide, just like the blackbuck committed suicide.” He further added that, alternatively, the driver might have to meet the fate of his former constable-bodyguard Ravindra Patil, who died under mysterious circumstances.
After the deafening silence from Bollywood superstars over the threats, a spokesperson of the Maharashtra government said, “Why is he fearing death? In the long run, we’re all dead.”
