Gurgaon: Two people, who were arrested on Thursday for their alleged involvement in a series of ATM frauds, were sent to judicial custody on Sunday.
The crime unit in Sector 39 has been interrogating Mohammed Jafar Iqbal (19), who is from Nuh, and Shakil Khan (20), a resident of Ali Mev in Palwal, since then.

The two had allegedly committed at least 13 ATM frauds in Gurgaon, police said.

According to police, the two used to take ATM cards from different people after pretending to help them and switch them with duplicate cards.

"This happens due to lack of awareness among these people. We nabbed the two people using technical surveillance," said the police.

A sum of Rs 66,000, 17 ATM cards, including Visa, Master card and credit cards, and an i20 car have been recovered from them. Cops could not detect from where the car has been stolen.
