A truck driver was killed in a one-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Dane County.
When rescuers arrived, they found the driver pinned inside his vehicle, which had struck a tree. The accident happened shortly before 5 p.m. on Lodi-Springfield Road near Stewart Road in the Town of Dane, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Department.
The bed of the truck split from the cab in the crash.
The man, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
