The United Kingdom has been hit by the Storm Dylan causing strong cold winds, rains and snowing which has disrupted travel and power supply in some areas leading to dampening the spirits of out-bound revellers on the New Year's Eve.
In fact, throughout the Christmas break in the UK, freezing
temperatures, unusually heavy snow, heavy rains and gusty winds have been
playing spoil sport for the festivities, informed the Facebook friend
from the UK with the picture of snow clad dwelling keeping them home-bound.
The storm hit many areas in the UK on Saturday night and is said
to be moving across other areas today disrupting life and confining people at
homes to celebrate the New Year's festivities.
However, in some big cities, despite a low key

participate in the New Year events and festivities including fireworks.
