Storm Dylan dampens New Year's Eve spirits across United Kingdom
The United Kingdom has been hit by the Storm Dylan causing strong cold winds, rains and snowing which has disrupted travel and power supply in some areas leading to dampening the spirits of out-bound revellers on the New Year's Eve.

People in Northern Ireland and southern Scotland have been warned of possible injury and danger to life if they venture out. Many people won't be able to attend parties in hotels and out-door events.

In fact, throughout the Christmas break in the UK, freezing temperatures, unusually heavy snow, heavy rains and gusty winds have been playing spoil sport  for the festivities, informed the Facebook friend from the UK with the picture of snow clad dwelling keeping them home-bound.

The storm hit many areas in the UK on Saturday night and is said to be moving across other areas today disrupting life and confining people at homes to celebrate the New Year's festivities.

However, in some big cities, despite a low key spirits, there will be a good number of youth to venture out to see and participate in the New Year events and festivities including fireworks.
