The England striker is reportedly keen on a move in January to make sure he gets into Gareth Southgate’s squad for the World Cup in Russia.

Having established himself as a key player at Anfield in his first two seasons, scoring 35 goals in 49 games, injuries have seen his form suffer badly.

Since the start of 2014/15 he has played 84 games, only scoring 28 times - and this season he has netted just three times from 14 appearances.

But the former Chelsea and Manchester City man is an undoubted talent, and if he can stay fit and get regular football, he could be a major asset for Southgate in Russia.

So, if Jurgen Klopp agrees to sell, where could the forward go?
