According to the police, Ghanshyam, a native of Padher in Nagaur district was staying in a hotel in Pushkar. Ghanshyam killed the woman with a knife in the hotel and later attacked himself with a knife.

Ghanshyam was injured in a suicide attempt and later he was taken to the Ajmer hospital. The family members of the deceased have been informed about the matter. The initial investigation into the matter is in process.
