GURUGRAM: A 21-year-old student of
Amity University,
Manesar, committed suicide on Friday night at his house in
New Colony area. His body was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room on Saturday.
Police handed over the body to his family after the postmortem but are yet to ascertain the cause behind the suicide. No suicide note was found from the room, said police.
The family told police that Nikhil went to sleep in his room after dinner on Friday night. On Saturday morning, family members went into his room as he had not come out from his room. They found Nikhil's body hanging from the fan and called police. A police team reached the spot and took his body into custody.

BBA final year in Amity University, Manesar," said inspector
