Lillian Ruth Kalenda Musgrove

Lillian Ruth Kalenda Musgrove, 93, of Paradise, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, in Paradise.

Funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at the First Baptist Church of Paradise with David Kelly officiating. Burial will be at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas at a later date.

Visitation is 10 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport is handling arrangements.

Honorary pallbearers are David McDougald, Cody Armstrong, Jody Bruce and Alvis (Bubba) Pryor.

Lillian was born Jan. 7, 1924, in Temple to Charles and Veronica (Ondrusek) Kalenda. She married Gerald Richard Musgrove Dec. 20, 1945, in Kansas City, Kan. Lillian was baptized March 4, 1951, at the First Baptist Church of Crowley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Paradise.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son Gerald E. Musgrove; granddaughter Tiffany; four sisters; and three brothers.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara McDougald and husband, Wayne, of Burleson and Florence Armstrong of Arlington; daughter-in-law Connie Musgrove of Cleburne; son Ralph Musgrove and wife, Sharita, of Buffalo Springs; brothers Joe Kalenda of Hallsville and Johnny Kalenda of Newburg, Ore.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Missions Program at the First Baptist Church of Paradise.
