Q • I have a golden pothos vine. It is quite young and seems to be only growing a single vine. Is there a way to promote the growth of several vines?

A • Prune the vine back to a point just above a leaf, or a scar where a leaf was formerly attached. In response, new growth will occur from dormant buds at or below the point the vine was pruned to, probably resulting in branching.

As time goes on, continue pinching the growing tips of the vines that result until the bushier habit you desire has been achieved.
