Mumbai is still recovering from the shocking incident of huge fire at Kamala Mills and in the midst of tragic situation veteran actor and BJP MP Hema Malini’s comment has enraged and offended many. She recently gave out a different point of view on why the tragedy took place and why such incidents keep happening in Mumbai. In an interview with news agency ANI, she said that such incidents are a clear case of casualness and she also stated that such incidents happen again and again in Mumbai due to overpopulation.

ANI posted the reply of Hema Malini on Twitter: “Population is so much, the city is spreading like anything. Some restrictions should be done on the population. Each city should have certain population/limit, after that they should not be allowed. Then let them go to another city: Hema Malini, BJP MP.” Soon tweeple started replying to the tweet and trolled her for giving out an insensitive statement on the issue. During the tragedy, at least 14 people died and more than 50 were injured. After the tragic incident, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis issued an inquiry and around five municipal officers were suspended.
