WAUSAU, WI. — Jack Radley did all he could to help the Peoria Mustangs sweep the two-game weekend series against the Wausau RiverWolves.
Radley scored two goals in the 6-3 victory on Saturday. On Friday he recorded a hat-trick in a 6-2 win.
The Mustangs got things going early in the first period when Braden Stewart and Brandon Hay each scored assisted goals for a 2-0 lead.
Radley scored two goals in the second period and Cody Layne added a goal as Peoria built the lead to 5-0.
Matt Irwin scored on a power play as Wausau cut the deficit to 5-1 in the third period.
Jack Healy scored a few seconds later to push the Mustangs lead 6-1 in the third before Wausau scored two goals in the last ten minutes.
Peoria goalie Dakota Meyer had 36 saves.
