Rohit Gupta on Saturday issued orders to temporarily suspend internet services including 2G, 3G, 4G data, bulk SMS, Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter and other social sites in Bundi district for 48 hours, from 6am on December 31 to 6am on January 2, 2018.

Shivangi Swarnkar has already imposed Section 144 in the district from 8pm on Saturday night till the next order in this regard.
Some Hindu organizations have given a call to perform puja on January 1 at Maandhata Balaji Temple. To prevent the organizations from spreading provocative messages and material on social media and other sites, it was necessary to temporarily suspend internet services, bulk SMS/MMS/Whatsapp, Twitter and other internet service providers except for lease line, voice call of landline and mobile, stated the order by divisional commissioner.
Taking a precautionary measure to maintain law and order situation in the district, the divisional commissioner on Saturday issued orders to ban internet services for next 48 hours. Prior to this, Bundi district collector Shivangi Swarnkar also ordered to impose Section 144 in the district from 8pm on Saturday.
The divisional commissioner also granted permission to carry out vediography by drones over the sensitive areas of the city. "The district administration is committed to maintain public peace, law and order situation in the district," said
Naresh Kumar Malav, ADM, Bundi.
Police force has been deployed at Tiger Hill, Meera Gate Circle and Jait Sagar road areas.
