Gainesville brothers released on bond following domestic brawl

GAINESVILLE, GA (CBS46) -

Authorities say a fight broke out between Austin and Tristan Rhodes at a location on the 6100 block of Lula Highway just before 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hall County officials say 22-year-old Austin Rhodes crashed into his brother's vehicle before the brawl ensued.

Tristan was not in the vehicle at the time, and no injuries were sustained by either party.

A family member says tensions came to a head following a heated dispute between the two men.

Austin is charged with aggravated assault and misdemeanor affray.

He was released from Hall County Jail after posting $10,750 bond.

Nineteen-year-old Rhodes is charged with possession of marijuana and misdemeanor affray. He was released after posting $1,950 bond.
