College Women Basketball: Knox topped by Central 85-53

PELLA, Iowa — The Knox College women’s basketball team suffered an 85-53 nonconference loss to Central on Friday.

The Prairie Fire (7-4) led 16-14 after the first quarter but was outscored 50-24 over the middle two quarters.

Hailey Leinart had 16 points to lead Knox and Morgan Potter pulled down 10 rebounds.

Emily Dine hit 11-of-18 attempts from the three-point mark to finish with 33 points for Central.
