Remains of the houses that were destroyed in a devastating fire in Yakshu village under Mon district on December 29.

Dimapur, Dec. 30 (EMN): Four houses were reduces to ashes in a devastating fire which broke out in Yakshu village under Mopong circle in Mon district, about 110 kms away from Mon headquarter, on December 29. It was also reported that six other houses were partially damaged.

Following the incident, a team from Mon District Legal Services Authority (MDLSA) led by M Moba, panel lawyer; Eshang and H Wangba, para legal volunteers of Mopong Legal Aids Clinics; and various NGO leaders of Mopong Circle have provided legal guidance and assistance to the fire victims.

It may be mentioned here that about 100 households was razed to the ground in Dimapur on the same day rendering homeless to the victims.
