GORDO'S TAKE: After scoring 11 points with a plus-5 in his first 12 games, Stastny scored just 14 points with a minus-13 rating in his next 27. Given his No. 2 center role and his $7.5 million salary, that's not enough offense. He is strong in the face-off circle (winning better than 54 percent of his draws) and gets about 55 percent of his zone starts on the offensive side, so his Corsi and Fenwick ratings are OK. He does solid work along the wall and his 24 takeaways in 39 games ranked third among Blues forwards.
