Helen “Honey” A. Poppel, 93, of New Britain passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017. She was born in New Britain and lived in Connecticut in addition to New York, Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her brother, Charles E. Poppel and his wife, Mildred, of New Britain, five nephews, one niece, and many extended family members and friends.
A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, 9 to 11 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain.
