The Real Estate Investment Society (REIS) is holding their January luncheon on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 11:30 a.m. in the Osprey Room in the Pelican Preserve Clubhouse
on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard. Tamara Pigott, director of the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau, will present "Challenges and Plans for Tourism and Convention Business." Free real estate seminar
Naples’ top real estate professionals are holding a public forum to help homebuyers and sellers avoid making common but harmful mistakes. According to local Realtor Jim York, who will be one of the professionals at the seminar, there are five errors that buyers and sellers frequently make. Step-by-step instruction will be covered. York will be joined by Donald Ross Jr., a real estate attorney; Chris Mitchell, an insurance expert; and Robert Slaughter a mortgage professional. The seminar will held Wednesday, Jan. 17 from 10 a.m. to noon with lunch following inTalis Park's clubhouse, 6475 Talis Park Drive. The seminar is specifically for buyers and sellers. GATES to build storage facility
GATES Construction has been selected to build The Lock Up Self Storage at 2295 U.S. 41 E. in Naples. The Lock Up Self Storage will consist of two buildings. One three-story, 86,642-square-foot climate controlled storage building and a one-story, 4,464-square-foot non-climate controlled storage building. The Lock Up Self Storage will hold 736 locker units. The project is slated for completion late summer 2018. Design services will be provided by Partners In Design Architects.
