Authorities are looking for a knife-wielding suspect who attempted to steal a case of Budweiser from a Phoenix QuikTrip in November.
On Nov. 26 around 2 a.m., a man walked in to the QuikTrip near 19th and Dunlap avenues and grabbed a case of beer before walking out without paying, according to Silent Witness.
The man, described as 35 to 45-years-old, dropped the beer as he was chased into the parking lot by the store's security guard. When the security guard attempted to pick up the case, police said the suspect advanced toward him with a large Bowie-style knife.
The security guard then drew his firearm and the suspect walked away from the property, police said.
Police describe the suspect as possibly a Native American male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has a scar or a mark under his right eye and was last seen wearing a black hat and a black-and-white pattern shirt, according to surveillance video.
