Kiwi supermodel Georgia Fowler soaks up the sun at home for Christmas holiday

New Zealand supermodel Georgia Fowler has returned home for the festive season to spend time with family.

Taking to Instagram she has shared pictures of her with friends and family as well as spending time bathing at the beach.

Fowler claimed she was content being back in New Zealand for the Christmas holiday, captioning a post, "Happy to be home."

She also took aim at those who think celebrating Christmas during winter is better than summer stating, "Forget snow, we've got sun surf and sand."

It has been a busy year for Fowler, the Victoria's Secret star flaunted the Shanghai stage in the worlds most famous underwear parade last month.

It was her second stint at the annual worldwide phenomenon with Fowler taking to Instagram at the time to thank the casting directors for inviting her again.

"To say I'm humbled to be included amongst these stars in an understatement.

"Thank you to everyone at Victoria's Secret for noticing my dedication allowing me to relive me dream for the second time around," she said in the post.

There was speculation earlier this year that the 25-year-old model was "casually dating" Nick Jonas and that former One Direction star Harry Styles might have written a song about her.
