Ring in the New Year at Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) - We're a little over two days from saying goodbye to 2017 and welcoming in an entirely new year.
Local businesses are preparing for New Years Eve, but the people at Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack say they're the place to be when the ball drops.
The festivities involve giveaways, live entertainment and two ticketed parties in their Terrace and Showroom.
The theme for the 2018 kickoff party is Old Hollywood, and people can expect some visits from a few different celebrity impersonators.
When asked why go all out the way they are, officials simply said, "why not?"
"It is the kickoff to a new year. We have had a fantastic 2017, so we want to not only celebrate an amazing year, but really ramp up and bring 2018 in with a bang," said Carrie Scanlon, Senior Director of Marketing.
Tickets for the festivities are still available for $25 on Ticketmaster and in the gift shop located at Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack.
