Warriors United in Arms

united in arms is a non-profit group that takes care of an american flag with an interesting background ... the flag was rescued from the american embassy in vietnam during the war in 1975 ... the group showcases the flag at various events ... they were was asked to show it off at the armed forces bowl in forth worth ... where army played against san diego state last week. several members hopped in a van and took the trip north ... they had a memorable time showing off the flag and sharing it's story with other veterans in attendance. larry jokl: "we felt incredible to drive almost 10 hours from brownsville to fort worth, set that flag and be able to do what we did in forth worth texas to showcase the last flag was indeed an honor. we had a couple of generals come by, an admiral come by. we've had a number of people come look at the flag. we also had a lot of vietnam vets. a lot of these guys became very emotional when they saw that flag." jesse huerta: "very patriotic just to see people that were happy to see us there. they really enjoyed the flag being there and the group that was representing brownsville. so it was quite an experience and i wouldn't change it for the world." ruben juarez: "the flag is currently displayed at the ibc bank on ruben torres boulevard in brownsville. reporting in the studio, ruben juarez, channel 5 sports."
