The Northside Lady Bears' undefeated run to start the season came to an end Friday.
Northside was defeated, 70-53, by a hot-shooting Edmond (Okla.) Santa Fe squad in the championship game of the Sapulpa (Okla.) Holiday Classic.
Sara Bershers had 19 points to lead Northside (12-1), while Jazz Coleman added 13.
Northside is now off until next Friday, when the Lady Bears return home for their 7A-Central opener against Bryant.
