Celtic team news: Brendan Rodgers makes three changes for Old Firm derby against Rangers

BRENDAN RODGERS has made three changes for Celtic's Old Firm derby clash against Rangers today (12pm).

Moussa Dembele starts for Celtic GETTY

Moussa Dembele, Scott Sinclair and Stuart Armstrong have all been restored to the starting XI at the expense of Oliver Ntcham, Leigh Griffiths and Jonny Hayes who broke his leg in the Boxing Day win over Dundee.

Dembele’s future at Celtic Park remains uncertain with reports last week suggesting Brighton had agreed a fee to sign him.

Celtic earned a 2-0 win over Rangers earlier in the season courtesy of goals from Tom Rogic and Griffiths.

Celtic have not lost to arch-rivals Rangers in the Scottish Premiership since March 2012, scoring 18 goals in six meetings.

Celtic have won three games on the bounce without conceding a goal, but they haven’t gone four matches without letting in a goal since 2016.

Craig Gordon sent a stark warning to their rivals ahead of the match by insisting Graeme Murty’s side won’t be able to cope if the Hoops are at their best.

“We know if we play to the best of our ability we’ll win,” Gordon said.

“It doesn’t really matter to us what anyone else is doing. We’ll go into the game and try to impose ourselves on it.”
