A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of murder after an attack at a nightclub in Bristol.
A man, also in his 30s, was taken to hospital after a "disturbance" at the Blue Mountain Club in the Stoke's Croft area of the city at around 3am but died two hours later, Avon and Somerset Police said.
A murder investigation has been launched following the death in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A police spokesman said: "A man who was assaulted was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died at about 5am."

Many areas around the club are cordoned off and police enquiries are continuing.
Police confirmed that the death is being treated as murder, but that no arrests have been made yet.
Unconfirmed sources have told the Bristol Post say that the man was stabbed, but the police have not commented on these.
It's understood that the man was a Bristol local.
