It’s soup season, and here are some newcomers for which the graphic designers worked overtime cramming the hype (“Broth is cool!” “Hey everyone drink broth!”) all over the packages. The brand, Rocket Broth, offers a chicken bone broth and vegan broth, both made in Brooklyn from mostly organic ingredients. Sheryl Moller, a certified health practitioner and nutrition guide, and Cree LeFavour, a cookbook writer, created the broth line. Sold in stand-up pouches, the broths are pleasant and modestly flavorful (230 to 250 milligrams of sodium help) for drinking or using in recipes. The chicken bone broth has a hefty 16 grams of protein per cup: Rocket Broth, $13.99 for 24 ounces, sold frozen, myrocketbroth.com.
